About Darrius
I am Darrius Doe. I am a bi-racial young man, born to a white mother and black father in Baltimore, Maryland. I was born on May 31st, 1995 and I am currently 20 years old. I have 2 siblings, Dakota(13) and Kaliah(21).
I am Hard-of-Hearing and attended the Maryland School for the Deaf up until I graduated in 2013. Now, I am a 3rd year student here at Gallaudet University, currently majoring in sociology.
Some of the things I thoroghly enjoy are: skateboarding, social justice, fashion, music, pop culture, sports and enjoying the company of anyone.
I am your Student Body Government's Director of Diversity for the 2015-2016 academic year. I am here to promote and appreciate the diversity here on our campus. Each and every person who steps foot onto campus embodies diversity. YOU have a unique backgorund, YOU have something to say, YOUR experiences are what makes up your identity, which ultimately makes you, YOU!
The goal is to have everyone feel as safe, respected & included as possible.
